Sustainability
In addition to the fact that Tupperware’s products are of excellent quality, they are especially known for their durability. Tupperware® has a closed material cycle. This means that they pay very close attention to the purchase of raw materials, the manufacture and the service life of their products, as well as recycling. Damaged Tupperware® products should not be disposed of in the dustbin, but can always be returned to Tupperware®. They then either use the material obtained from this for their own non-food recycling line or make it available to other plastic manufacturers.
In addition to the ecological component, the social component in the area of sustainability is also very important. Tupperware® supports a wide variety of initiatives worldwide to promote and educate children, young people, women and families.
Plastic
For more than 75 years Tupperware has been developing, producing and selling innovative, practical, durable products made of food-safe plastics that make their customers’ lives easier and help them save time and money, keep food fresh, store ingredients and prepare quick, easy and healthy meals.
As a responsible, customer-oriented company, they attach great importance to high-quality raw materials in the manufacture of their products. For this reason they give a Lifetime warranty on their Tupperware® products.
Material
Tupperware® products usually consist of one or more different plastics. You can tell that all of their products are suitable for use with food by the “glass and fork” symbol printed on the base.
Why should I buy Tupperware® when competing products are sometimes significantly cheaper?
Owning an original Tupperware® product means you own the product with all its advantages in your hand. Tupperware® products are known for their quality and durability and come with a Lifetime Warranty. So you can enjoy your new product for a long time. And if it does have to be replaced, it doesn’t end up in the dustbin, but is returned to their closed product cycle and recycled.
For Tupperware®, responsibility begins at the beginning, which means that they only use high-quality, flawless raw materials for the manufacturing of their products, and most of their production is done locally. Should something have to be replaced, the product does not end up in the dustbin, but is returned to their closed production cycle and recycled. They also put great emphasis on service. On the one hand, their Consultants are available to answer questions about your products. On the other hand, you will find many clever tips & tricks as well as inspiring recipes on my website. As you can see, it is worth buying the original, because you will definitely enjoy it for longer.
Are all Tupperware® products airtight and waterproof?
Tupperware® products always have specific properties for the respective purpose. That is why many round products are airtight and waterproof. Not all of them, however! To be on the safe side, they always recommend transporting the product upright. If necessary, you are welcome to contact me for more information. Then you get precise information about the density, functionality, etc. Then nothing can go wrong.
